Beambridge Research Academy is building a selective international research community that connects experts, researchers, and postgraduate scholars to collaborate on high-impact research, publications, patents, and real-world innovation.

We invite motivated individuals to join us as members and contribute to a research-driven ecosystem spanning academia, industry, and technology transfer.

Membership Categories

  • 1. Expert / Senior Member

    (Senior Academics, Industry Experts, Principal Researchers)

    Who this is for
    Established researchers and professionals with strong academic, technical, or industrial research backgrounds who can lead, supervise, and mentor.

    Eligibility Criteria

    • PhD degree or equivalent professional research experience

    • Strong publication record (journals, conferences, patents, or applied research)

    • Demonstrated expertise in one or more relevant research domains

    • Experience in research supervision, project leadership, or industry R&D is highly desirable

    • Ability to contribute intellectually to collaborations and strategic research direction

    • Willingness to mentor junior members and supervise research activities

    Role & Expectations

    • Lead or co-lead research projects

    • Act as supervisor or co-supervisor for postgraduate and early researchers

    • Contribute to publications, patents, and funded projects

    • Participate in peer review, research planning, and academic discussions

    2. Young / Early Researcher Member

    (Postdoctoral Researchers, Early-Career Academics, Research Engineers)

    Who this is for
    Researchers in the early stages of their academic or research career who are actively building their publication profile and research independence.

    Eligibility Criteria

    • Master/PhD completed or near completion (or equivalent research experience)

    • Demonstrated research capability (publications, preprints, or ongoing projects)

    • Strong motivation to publish, collaborate, and grow research expertise

    • Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams

    • Commitment to ethical research and academic integrity

    Role & Expectations

    • Actively participate in collaborative research projects

    • Contribute to publications, patents, and proposals

    • Engage with senior members for mentorship and guidance

    • Support training activities, workshops, or research initiatives when appropriate

    3. Postgraduate Researcher Member

    (PhD Candidates, MSc by Research Students)

    Who this is for
    Postgraduate researchers seeking mentorship, collaboration, and exposure to high-quality research environments beyond their home institution.

    Eligibility Criteria

    • Currently enrolled in a PhD or research-based Master’s programme

    • Clear research interests aligned with Beambridge R&D focus areas

    • Strong academic foundation and research motivation

    • Endorsement or reference from a supervisor is advantageous (not mandatory)

    • Willingness to actively contribute and learn in collaborative research settings

    Role & Expectations

    • Participate in joint research activities and discussions

    • Contribute to papers, reviews, simulations, experiments, or prototypes

    • Engage in training, seminars, and research development activities

    • Uphold professional research conduct and confidentiality

The Membership Form

Important Notice

Please note that all applicants who are accepted as members of Beambridge Research Academy will be required to formally enter into one or more agreements prior to onboarding. These may include, but are not limited to:

  • Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

  • Research Ethics and Professional Conduct Agreement

  • Intellectual Property (IP) and Authorship Agreement

  • Collaboration and Confidentiality Terms

These agreements are intended to protect all parties, ensure ethical research practice, and clearly define rights and responsibilities. Membership will only become effective once the relevant agreements have been reviewed and signed.
